| bio |
A third of the triumvirate (see also Stick and Kill Creek) that ruled the Kansas scene about the time Nirvana woke up all the labels to the fact that they, too, needed some angst. However, Paw was the only one to make it very big at all on the national scene, signed to A&M Records.
Their aggressive yet melodic albums produced a couple semi-hit singles and two albums before their label dropped them.
Paw resurfaced in 2000 with founding members Mark Hennessy and Grant Fitch and new recruits Jesse Larson and Jason Magierowski. Their third album was released on Koch Records.
