| bio |
This multifaceted quintet based in Lawrence Kansas, finds their success in the ability to please almost any crowd with music that is innovative yet accessible. Uniquely intermingling rock, alternative and pop with classical and jazz, Aubrey utilizes each genre to create a sound that has never been heard before and is likely to never be reproduced by anyone else.
Aubrey's foundations go back to Quail Run Elementary School in Lawrence, KS when founder Jon Ulasien met Robert Weinaug and each talked their parents into buying their first guitars. Since then Aubrey has had many iterations in names and members, but began to solidify in 2001 when Alex Pierrelee and Paul Becker were added to the mix. The most recent addition to the group, Jamie Netzer, has made Aubrey's journey to perfect their sound complete. Aubrey's Website has become buzz of activity as web surfers from as far away as Denmark and Italy have listened to and downloaded audio samples of the Aubrey's unique and accessible sound.
